How to Order Greeting Cards Without Envelopes
Can I order greeting cards without envelopes?
All greeting card orders automatically include blank envelopes matched to your card size. For example, if you order 50 cards, you will receive 50 envelopes.
Envelopes are included in the price of your order, and we generally do not provide a discount if you choose not to use them.
Why are envelopes included?
Our standard process is to include envelopes with card orders so your cards are ready to send as soon as they arrive. Each envelope is sized to fit your selected card and ships together with your order.
If you order a different quantity, the number of envelopes will always match the number of cards you purchase. Extra envelopes are available for purchase when placing your order.
How to order cards only (without envelopes)
If you prefer to receive cards only and do not want envelopes included with your order, you can request this during checkout.
- Select your greeting card design and choose your quantity.
- Customize your card (if applicable), then click Add to Cart.
- On the Add to Cart Pop-up, locate the Special Order Instructions or Order Notes box. Note, the Special Order Instructions box is also located in the shopping cart.
- In the instructions box, enter a note such as:
“Cards only — please do not include envelopes with this order.” - Proceed through checkout and place your order as usual.
- If you prefer, you can also contact Customer Service for assistance with placing a cards-only request.
Important notes about cards-only orders
- Envelopes are included in the price. We do not offer a discount if you choose not to receive or use the envelopes.
- Envelope quantity matches card quantity. If you order 25, 50, or 100 cards, the same number of envelopes is included by default. Extra envelopes are available for purchase while placing your order.
- Cards-only requests are handled manually. When you add a note in the Special Order Instructions box, our team will review and process your request.
- Assortment Packs are not available without envelopes. Assortments packs are only available with envelopes as they are pre-packaged to include both cards and envelopes.
